SUMMER IN THE GARDEN: THE LUNAR SOCIETY ANNUAL GARDEN PARTY

  • Winterbourne House and Gardens 58 Edgbaston Park Road Birmingham, England, B15 2RT United Kingdom (map)

the lunar society annual garden party 2026

Join the Lunar Society for our Annual Garden Party at Winterbourne House & Gardens.

Enjoy the beautiful setting along with supper in the garden, network with members and guests, and hear from our keynote speaker Dr Phil Burton-Cartledge who will be speaking about Britain's changing social fabric.

The political sands across the UK are shifting. In the wake of seismic local elections across England, as well as to the devolved legislatures of Scotland and Wales, how can we make sense of the results and what do they tell us about where we are going?

Dr. Phil Burton-Cartledge is an author and lecturer in Sociology at the University of Derby. Via his blog, All That Is Solid, he regularly writes about politics and current affairs. He has also written for The Independent, New Statesman, and OpenDemocracy.
