Join us for one of the highlights of the Lunar Society calendar as we gather for our prestigious Annual Dinner on Thursday 10 September 2026 at the elegant Edgbaston Priory Club.
The evening will begin at 6.45pm with a drinks reception, offering guests the opportunity to network with fellow members, professionals and friends of the Society before enjoying an outstanding three-course dinner.
We are delighted to welcome Oliver Franklin-Wallis as our guest speaker. An award-winning journalist and author, Oliver has written for The Guardian, The New York Times, The Times Magazine and many other leading publications.
His acclaimed first book, Wasteland: The Dirty Truth About What We Throw Away, Where It Goes, And Why It Matters, explores the hidden journey of our waste and its profound implications for society, the environment and the future of our planet. The book was shortlisted for the Wainwright Prize, selected as a BBC Radio 4 Book of the Week, and named one of The New Yorker’s Best Books of 2023.
