Ben Russell, curator of Mechanical Engineering at the Science Museum in London and the author of James Watt: Making the World Anew, has offered to conduct a private tour of James Watt’s workshop and the Energy Hall for Lunar Society members and their guests. Meet the conservators and see first-hand the ways in which they look after the Trust’s varied collections. This tour will provide a fascinating insight into the role conservators play in preserving objects how they are prepared for loans and exhibitions.
