Professor Simon Schaffer will be giving a lecture on how the Lunar Society influenced and was influenced by the European Age of Enlightenment.   Simon Schaffer is Professor of History of Science at the University of Cambridge and fellow of Darwin College. He has coedited 'The sciences in enlightened Europe' and 'The material culture of enlightenment arts and sciences'.
