Wednesday 30th January - Lee Benson FRSA has kindly invited us to Number 9 the Gallery, Brindley Place, Birmingham between 6pm – 8pm to view a series of his photographs from the observationists ltd which provide interesting views and aspects of Birmingham which you will have never noticed before. As always with Lee, the convivial surroundings of his Gallery will provide a amiable backdrop to discuss all things RSA and beyond.
John Baskerville's work lauded by new society
The Baskerville Society, an international society dedicated to the study of the eighteenth-century typographer, printer, industrialist and Enlightenment figure, has been formed by Birmingham-based academics Dr Caroline Archer of The Typographic Hub at the Birmingham City University Institute of Art & Design, and Dr Malcolm Dick from the University of Birmingham’s Centre for West Midlands History.
Science Capital Award
