New chief executive of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce

A new permanent chief executive of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce has been confirmed.

Margaret Corneby, who had been acting up to the role in recent months, be responsible for the overall management of the chamber covering three separate subsidiaries, with 45 staff at four locations and 1600 members.

Ms Corneby joined the Wolverhampton Chamber as Representation and Policy Manager in 1998, progressing to director of Wolverhampton in 2001 when the four Chambers of the Black Country merged.
