Regional Low Carbon Task Force

The Regional Minister, Ian Austin, recently announced a 'Low Carbon' West Midlands Task and Finish Group, chaired by Lunarwoman Professor Julia King.

The intention is that the group will meet three times (15 January, 22nd February, 22nd March) in the first quarter of 2010 and develop three or four 'big ideas' around immediate opportunities, in the area of low carbon, which can be implemented quickly and which have the potential to make a significant contribution to the regional economy.
