Sir Bruce Keogh to be first NHS Medical Director
Cardiac surgeon, President of the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery and Lunarman Sir Bruce Keogh has been appointed to the new post of NHS Medical Director reporting directly to the DoH. Created last May, this role is to manage the clinical delivery and clinical outcomes of the NHS.
