Parvin Ali, John Crabtree & John Charlton in Queen's Birthday Honours
17th JULY 2008: Parvin Ali, founder director of Fatima Women's Network has been awarded an OBE for 'services to diversity' and John Crabtree former senior partner with Wragge & Co and an AWM Board member an OBE for 'services to
SENSE' in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
The Society's Chairman, John Charlton, is to take his turn too for an award. As well our 2005-07 Chairman, he is also Chair of the University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and his CBE is for 'services to healthcare'.
In this photo (left) he is awarding Dame Rachel Waterhouse with the Lunar Society Medal at the 2006 Annual Dinner at the Council House last October.
