The British Science Festival

The British Science Festival, one of Europe’s largest public science events, is coming to Aston University in September 2010 (14th to 19th September).

The Festival brings over 350 of the UK’s top scientists, engineers and commentators together to discuss the latest developments in science and technology with the public. The Festival attracts academics, the general public, school groups and families, and tens of thousands of visitors are expected.

Hundreds of events are set to take place both on the Aston University campus and at a variety of venues across the city and the region, from libraries and museums to shopping centres and bars. Events will include debates, talks, workshops, exhibitions, field trips and unique opportunities to question the UK’s top scientists.
