On Monday 25th October Sir Arnold Wolfendale FRS discussed the evidence and provided his views and conclusions on the nature of comets and asteroids and their origin. The Lecture was chaired by Peter Willmore, formerly Professor of astro-physics at the University of Birmingham. This was a joint lecture hosted by Birmingham and Midland Institute.
