2009 Annual Dinner with Ed Miliband MP
On Thursday 12th November 2009 the Lunar Society Annual Dinner was held in the Banqueting Suite of the Council House, Birmingham, hosted by the Lord Mayor.
The guest speaker was Ed Miliband MP, Secretary for State for Energy and Climate Change. The Rt Hon Ed Milliband, an economic's graduate, rose to become chairman of one of HM Treasury's Council of Economic Advisers.
At the Dinner, in his impromptu speech he spoke about the effects of Climate Change and reflected on anticipations for the Copenhagen talks due to take place in December 2009.
