The new Library of Birmingham

A warm invitation from Brian Gambles of the new Library of Birmingham for Society Members and guests to join him at 1830 at the offices of Shakespeare Putsman (Somerset House, Temple Street, B2 5DJ) to hear what's happening, and engage in a Q&A discussion with him on the role of new Library and what contribution the Society might be able to make.

This event is free to Members (£15 for non-Members), and a buffet supper will be provided.

The design of the new Library of Birmingham will be by the Dutch firm Mecanoo, and Argent has been selected for the redevelopment of the Paradise Circus.
