The new Library of Birmingham

A warm invitation was given by Brian Gambles of the new Library of Birmingham for Society Members and guests able to join him at the offices of Shakespeare Putsman to hear what was happening, and engaged in a Q&A discussion with him on the role of new Library and what contribution the Society was able to make.

The design of the new Library of Birmingham will be by the Dutch firm Mecanoo, and Argent has been selected for the redevelopment of the Paradise Circus.
