Stella Sims in a Celebration of the Centenary of Rimsky-Korsakov
Lunarwoman Stella Sims (mezzo-soprano) and Michael Jones (piano) will be giving two (free!) concerts during Birmingham Artsfest. The first is at 1500 on Saturday 13th September 2008, they will be at the CBSO Centre in Berkeley Street, and the second at 1415 on Sunday 14th September in St Martin in the Bull Ring.
These concerts, entitled 'A Celebration of the Centenary of Rimsky-Korsakov, will include music from Rimsky-Korsakov and also Balakirev, Mussorgsky, Borodin, Cui, Alexander Taneyev, Glazunoy, Prokofiev, Ypres-Smith and Pitfield.
