Lunar men and women in the Power50

Ten Society Members, four of them women, are in the 2008 Birmingham Post's Power 50, announced on 17th July 2008. Professor Lord Kumar Bhattycharyya (2), Aston's VC Jula King, (3) BBC Trust Chairman Sir Michael Lyons (7) and Deputy Leader Councillor Paul Tilsley (9) all hit the top ten.

Chief Executive of the UHB NHS Foundation Trust, Julie Moore (16), LSC's David Cragg (23), Chamber of Commerce CX Jerry Blackett (32) our Chair Professor Deirdre Kelly of the Children's Hospital (27), College Principal Dr Christine Braddock (45) and Catholic Bishop Vincent Nichols (47) also make the list.
